Kimberly Tsai Cawkwell

I am a mother, an educator and a helping hand.

Currently I work at New Tech Network (NTN) as a Curriculum Development Specialist, a School Coach and as a New Tech Facilitator. 

​

In my previous role, I was coaching and leading professional learning at the University of San Diego's Jacob's Institute for Innovation in Education.

 

My core background in education is in the elementary setting; teaching, coaching and leading professional learning in a project-based learning environment. As a founder of two High Tech Elementary project-based learning schools, I have leaned into the joy and complexities of designing project-based learning that is truly responsive to the community I serve.

I am deeply passionate about advocating for all students to have access to a high-quality equitable education. It is my hope that all schools honor student voice and foster space where all learners can discover their passions and drive their own learning.
